PALS focuses on pediatric assessment and the early recognition and management of respiratory emergencies, shock, arrhythmias, and cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. The course aims to take a systematic approach to pediatric assessment and the rapid evaluation and management of respiratory, shock, and cardiac emergencies in infants and children. Participants learn to apply PALS treatment algorithms, conduct effective resuscitation, and communicate as a member of a resuscitation team to improve patient outcomes.

The Interstate Building is located on South King Street in central Honolulu. Visitor parking is available in the building, with garage access from South King Street and Young Street. Parking availability and rates may vary, so allow a few extra minutes before class to park, enter the building, and take the elevator to Suite 606.
