What You Will Learn
This combo course covers everything from the individual classes, including CPR for adults, children, and infants. Learn AED use, cardiac rhythm recognition, emergency medications, and team-based resuscitation scenarios. The main difference from taking separate courses is that you build your skills step by step in a single session, starting with BLS techniques and progressing to the management of complex cardiac emergencies. You’ll also receive two separate AHA eCards upon completion.

How Much Harder is ACLS Than BLS?
ACLS is more advanced than BLS because it covers complex cardiac rhythms, emergency medications, and advanced airway management. However, if you already know BLS skills, ACLS builds on that foundation and becomes much easier to learn.
Do I Need to Renew BLS if I Have ACLS?
Yes, you need to renew both certifications every two years because they are separate credentials with different skill sets. Having ACLS doesn't replace your BLS certification requirements.
Do I receive one card or two?
You receive separate BLS and ACLS Provider eCards after completing the requirements for both courses.
